Terminal 2, Manchester Airport
DCD Ltd installed 63,000m² of metal decking, provided safety netting, and welded over 250,000 19x95 (LAW) shear connectors as part of the Terminal 2 redevelopment programme.

Our team worked in close coordination with the main steel contractor to deliver one of the UK’s largest airport expansion projects, completing works to the highest standards while meeting strict programme deadlines and safety requirements.

In addition to the main terminal works, we also delivered:

15,000m² of metal decking and safety netting, with over 14,000 welded 19x95 (LAW) shear connectors to the Pier & Link.

2,500m² of metal decking and safety netting, with over 10,000 welded 19x95 (LAW) shear connectors to Pier 2.
